Chiến tranh Việt Nam – Lễ nhậm chức nhiệm kỳ thứ hai của Tổng thống Ngô Đình Diệm vào ngày 29 tháng 4 năm 1961
Loạt ảnh hấp dẫn này mang đến một cái nhìn thú vị về sự trang trọng và các nghi lễ xung quanh lễ nhậm chức nhiệm kỳ thứ hai của Ngô Đình Diệm Tổng thống Việt Nam Cộng hòa vào ngày 29 tháng 4 năm 1961. Cuộc diễu binh hùng tráng đã diễn ra dọc theo Đại lộ Thống Nhất t(nay là Đường Lê Duẩn). Bên cạnh các quân nhân và những chiếc xe tăng oai nghiêm, các trang phục truyền thống cũng diễu hành, thậm chí có cả sự xuất hiện của những chú voi, tạo thêm một khía cạnh độc đáo cho cảnh tượng này.
Loạt ảnh còn mang đến một cái nhìn cận cảnh hơn. Một bức ảnh cho thấy bữa đải tiệc với gia đình Tổng thống Diệm và các nhân vật chính phủ. Đáng chú ý có sự hiện diện của bà Ngô Đình Nhu, người vợ có ảnh hưởng của Ngô Đình Nhu, em trai và cố vấn chính của Tổng thống Diệm.
Những bức ảnh có ý nghĩa lịch sử quan trọng này được chụp bởi Lam Thanh Sung, phóng viên quay phim của cơ quan báo chí.
