A visual art using the body to express emotions, such is the subject of dance.
Tender love, carnal love, dreamed love are made visible. Intimate gestures are exposed with coded forms which mesmerize the audience, awed by the drama of passion.
The eye of the camera lens reveals this audacity at the closest perspective.
In the chiaroscuro of the stage, the snapshot paradoxically emphasizes the inner power of the body’s movement.
In the red opera of Saigon “beauty will be convulsive or will not be”.
