The 40th anniversary of the \u201c30 April 75\u201d in 2015 showed a grandiose spectacle in front of the Palace where thousands of people reenacted the historical scenes with real tanks and trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National mourning on October 2013 was held in the Palace in tribute to General Vo Nguyen Giap, victorious over the French at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and France in 2013, the neutral color of the building changed for a video mapping light show.
