Shibuya was historically the site of a castle in which the Shibuya family resided from the 11th century through the Edo period.
Since the early 1980s. Shibuya is a known as the Mecca for youth fashion and culture, and its streets are the birthplace to many of Japan’s fashion and entertainment trends.
Center Gai is the busiest pedestrian zone in the heart of Shibuya and it can be located by the big ads HMV on the photo.
On the horizon, the Yoyogi Park and further Shinjuku City can be seen.
